Women In Skill Development (WISD)

Many of the single mothers lack the skills necessary for employment because they did not attend school as youngsters. Many of the young adults stopped attending school around the same time because their parents might not have been able to afford the tuition.

They are left to rely on others for help after losing their jobs. Most single mothers in our foundation are interested in learning a skill that could help them start informal businesses and earn a living.

CILF supports these women by providing skills training and business support through workshop sessions to train our women in areas such as pastry and bread making, liquid soap, beads making etc.

Our foundation’s main goal is to train people in fundamental business and entrepreneurial skills.

To be more precise, we help them gain business, financial, and planning skills and assist them with networking, business start-ups, and access to other business support services to generate income, create jobs, and integrate into the community for sustainable growth.
