Single Mothers In Trade

Currently, some women have received funds of up to 500 cedis to work in informal businesses such as starting food businesses, selling smoked fish, and selling egg business. We hope to get more funds and donors to be able to stretch our territories and help more mothers.

Most single mothers in Ghana, engage in informal businesses and trade. They mostly sell on the streets and earn just enough to survive and put food on the table.

Most of these businesses have been hit by the Covid 19 Pandemic which has made some single mothers unemployed.

CILF in partnership with donors and international organizations is helping single moms start a trade or small business for a better standard of living.
